Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • Preparation of annual / interim financial statements including all required disclosure notes (including tax charge / provision and notes).
  • Preparation of an audit file, which include all relevant reconciliations (including a local GAAP reconciliation from the IFRS set of accounting books) and the statutory financial statements.
  • Record all relevant accounting transactions on a general ledger in line with IFRS.
  • Submission of a general ledger, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet for the company reporting purposes on a monthly basis in line with reporting timetable.
  • Update and maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Ensure that all documentation and back up to entries are held in line with local regulation and the client’s information retention policy.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation on monthly basis.

Payroll

  • Calculate all payroll taxes (employee/employer) that should be deducted / paid on staff salaries for all employees.
  • Prepare and submit all payroll tax filings required by local legislation.
  • Prepare payroll on monthly basis on receipt of payroll information from the company.
  • Provide monthly upload to the company’s financial system and inform appropriate accounting and cash management team.
  • Manage the process for completion and submission of the periodic withholding tax returns specific to the jurisdiction.
  • Make amendments to payroll when employees are hired / leave.
  • Make arrangements for payment of payroll and employee expense payments and administer deductions and queries.
  • Produce and distribute payslips.
  • Provide reasonable helpline time per month to deal with queries raised by the company’s payroll contact.
